Droid Incredible Rattle

Wondering if the rattle in the top of the Incredible is normal? When I set the phone down or tap gently on the back of the top part of the phone around the speaker or camera area, there is pretty loud rattle? Doesn't seem normal to me. Didn't notice it when I first got it, but it seems to be getting louder, or maybe I'm just noticing it more.

Are you talking about the whole phone rattling. I believe you are talking about how the phone vibrates every time you hit one of the face buttons or when you return to your home page by using the 'home" face button. Does it have the same type rattle when you are typing on the keyboard?

No, it's not the Haptic feedback from pushing the buttons, i have that turned off. it seems to be something mechanical or a loose part that rattles when tapping the back of the phone near the camera or top part of the phone. trust me if yours did it, you'd notice.

Mine has the same rattle. I brougt it into the verizon store yesterday and they offered to send me a replacement. The tech at the store suspected that it was the speaker that was loose, but I'm not sure. Then I got to work and my coworker has the same phone and the same rattle. Gonna wait and see if the replacement does it when it first arrives or if something is coming loose after carrying it around for a while.

mine does it....but ONLY if i tap the area you described. i never noticed it before, until i read this thread and tried tapping near the rear speaker. i suspect that they all do. everything works properly on mine and, like i said, i would've never noticed it until i read this and tried to tap and hear the rattle.
