My prior phone (LG Touch) used mobile email and I accessed my GoDaddy mail account with no problems.
I just got the HTC Droid Incredible and was on the phone for hours with tech support with no resolution.
I am able to receive email but cannot send it. This almost makes this smartphone worthless to me.
Here are my settings:
Incoming POP server: pop.secureserver.net (Port 110 with no security)
Outgoing SMTP Server: smtpout.secureserver.net (Port 25 or 80)
Incoming Works. Outgoing does not. I can't believe this is a problem considering GoDaddy is the largest hosting
company in america. They assure me that the problem is not on their end.
The only thing I can do at this point is use the GoDaddy app to send and receive email. This sucks cause there are
extra steps involved and it's obviously not as nice as the built-in email feature for this phone.
Has anyone encountered this problem with the outgoing mail using GoDaddy?
Thanks in advance for your suggestions

I have a Godaddy email account setup on my Incredible and don't have any problem sending and receiving. I'm using the same outgoing settings you listed with Port 80. I have used it on both Wifi and 3G. Doesn't seem to be a problem on Godaddy's end but an issue with some setting in your phone. Have you tried it with any other email accounts?

Have you tried K9 for email? You should!
You should be ok using port 80, security type: None, and try checking require sign-in
