I'm most definitely NOT a VZW employee. If a post answered your question, please mark it as the answer.

I have a question reguarding gmail. If its true that apps are tied to your gmail account then maybe someone has my answer. I had a g1 with t-mobile for 2years and during that time I bought around $60 in apps from the market. Now im with Verizon and have the droid x. The phone was set up with a gmail account but only as a temp. If I can change my new gmail to my old gmail that I also still currently use, then could I get my apps back and use them on this new droid. Cuz if I can't then that would be a sorry waste. Any positive solution would be superb. Thanks in advance!

Go to "My Accounts" app, click "new account" and put in the information for your old Gmail account. Once that is set up, go to "Market" and tap the menu key, click on "downloads." This should show you all the apps you downloaded both thru your old account and your new account. I should also say, unless you absolutely need it, to get rid of one of your Gmail accounts or else you'll be getting a mess of double messages, Email, etc.
