Droid Multimedia Station / Dock

Anyone know why the Droid Mutlimedia Station / Dock is not available for purchase online?

Also, has anyone been to the stores and know if it is available there?

The launch kit said it was in stock soon.  Not sure what that means but apparently they are still being built.

was just at my local store and they had them!

I dont know if I got the last one or not but it was the last one on the display (may have more in back, i didnt ask).

I am impressed with it though, it is heavyweight and the surface is a polished aluminum.

Regular Price was $29.99, I am on a Corporate Discount Plan (my Wifes) and got it discounted to $22.50.

I called several stores, all of them did not have them in stock but they said they should be getting more this week.  They also said I could come in and they could order it for me and have it sent to my house at no charge for shipping.

They did not have it in stock on Friday, but I ordered it then when I picked up the Droid.  Just received it today!  Very nice, except you cannot have the case protector on when you insert it.  So I may have to go with another case, because I don't think it will fit in the car mount either with it on and its a pain to get it off.

I returned my case and will carry it around naked.  It spends most of the time in the Dock anyway and they were the same price.

I ordered a second Dock for my bedside since it's an excellent alarm clock music player as well.

Well worth the money - kicks **bleep**.

I live in Shakopee, MN.  I was at the Verizon store waiting in line to get in to the store on the day the Droid was released.  They had only four docks in the store, but said their headquarters had over 1000 in stock.  They sent my dock via Fedex and I received it today, two business days later.

i went into a store today and was told they didnt have any. the guy said they could ship it to me by 7pm on friday and i only had to pay for the dock and tax. my total came to $23.90 for everything. where is everyone getting $29.99?
