Droid Shipping date.

So I ordered my Droid HTC Incredible the 5th of July. They told me it would be a week to a month before I received my phone in the mail. I have not received it yet and it is July 20th. I went to the nearest Verizon Wireless Store to see if they could track my phone. It could not be done. I wait five more days, and still no phone in the mail. So today I called C.S. to see if they could track my phone.. I guess it hasn't even been shipped yet.. How is this possible. I mean seriously how can is it possible there is a shortage of these phones? I gave them my money and I want my **bleep** phone. I am highly disappointed with their costumer service. It is terrible and I don't know how it takes a month to ship a **bleep** phone. Terrible! I think this will seriously make me switch phone providers if I am not compensated for my wait or get my phone. I guess the Droid X is already on back order and it just came out? The company didn't see that one coming? Come on!

Sorry dude, but your just one in the long line of many thousand. If you were to see the other post regarding shipping dates, you would know that the Incredible has been delayed to ship out since the 2nd or 3rd day it came out (like the middle of May). While I'm sorry you don't have your phone yet and I feel your pain (because it is really an awesome phone), but just because the manufacturer can't keep up with demand, that doesn't give you a right to get compensated for it. Several thousand people had to wait and some are still waiting, over 3+ weeks. You are just now at the 2 and a half weeks time frame.

My wait time was right at 4 weeks. So with that said, I really don't feel sorry for you. "If I don't get compensated", give me a break. They told you it would be a 'week to a month'. Did you forget that? In other words, you 'come on', get over it and wait like the rest of us did!

Friggin calm down. You want the phone...you have to wait for it. In all reality it's about 1 week short of a month on orders. The high demand volume just tells me that I picked a good phone - people all decide it's a great choice. I would rather have it over the X. When 2.2 comes out there really only is HDMI out as the only added feature. The huge size isn't a feature to me.

dabu i have some cheese for all here. that $25 thing was only for that week where they started telling peeps 7-10 days longer than their original ship by day. there was about a week where vzn was getting these out about 5+ weeks after order, so they tried to shut everyone up with the $25 gift card. btac.....you should really check the other thread (approaching 300 pages!!! discussing this). i know you don't want to wait...but they told you it could be up to a month and it will be. however, MANY peeps that ordered 7/1 and 7/2 are getting shipping notices today, so you're close!!! it came out april 27 (i think?). i ordered may 6 and got it on the 11th. but by may 8, they were already telling people at least 3 weeks. there was higher demand and a screen shortage (still is a screen shortage).
