I updated to 2.2 yesterday and lost my market app after install. I can't find how to manually reinstall (if that will even help). Someone mentioned to me i might need to "re-flash" my phone. Not sure any of these things... ideas?

Hello jowens89. I have read your post and understand your issue at which your market place has been deleted from your device. Some options you can try with your device would be to power the phone off and do a battery pull then once powered back on dial *228 press send and select option 1 to re-program. You can also try doing a hard reset on your device. Here are the steps for a hard reset.

From the home screen, touch the applications tab (located at the bottom of the display).
Touch Settings.
Touch Privacy.
Touch Factory Data Reset.
Touch Reset Phone.
If presented, enter the current passcode or draw the unlock pattern.
Touch Erase Everything.

I usually don't agree with this action but a Factory reset after installing the update is a must do item, not all applications are 2.2 compatible and if a non-compatible app is installed on device can cause a number of device issues.
