Droid X Android 2.1

I just orderd my droid X and this says that it comes with android 2.1 and now reading on android website there saying that android 2.2 is out will my new phone come 2.2 or this an update im going to have to do, and if so whats the proess for downloading 2.2. Im new this this whole android

there's another thread about this a few posts down from your post. its due to come out in september according to the threads or you can check motorola's website too.

When the 2.2. update is available (September) you'll be prompted with a notification saying that an update is available. You can choose to then to "update now or "upgrade later".
