Droid X - Switching to Mobile Site vs Full Site

Can anyone tell me how to prevent my phone from automatically changing to a mobile site, when I specifically want (and type) the full site??  I've seen some earlier posts about "Dolphin Browser", etc, but I have no idea what this means.  I don't know what type of browser I'm using, other than the one originally installed on the Droid X (unless this last upgrade to Gingerbread changed something related to this).

Thanks in advance for help.....

Unless you've installed a 3rd party browser such as Dolphin HD, you are using the standard (stock) browser that came with your device.

Dolphin will let you set it to indentify itself as a mobile or desktop browser. The default browser will allow you to do that also, but the setting doesn't stay after you close it.

Ok - @Pool_Shark - can you tell me how to set the default brower?  (I understand it defaults back after each session).  And, can you tell me if it's worth downloading the Dolphin Browser - better experience, etc?

Thanks!

The steps above are correct. To determine whether or not Dolphin is a better experience for you, install it and take it for a drive. It's free and won't cause you any harm.
