Droid X- Worry Free Guarantee- online change

Okay I just started my Verizon Service on the 26th of June. I got the Palm Pixi Plus and I REALLY don't like it. I changed from AT&T because Verizon is just so much better where I live. I had an iPhone 3gs and the move to this Palm is just not working. My question is how do I change my phone to the Droid X, not lose service, and how do I do it online so I do not have to pay 299 up front for it. I would only like to pay 199 with the instant rebate. Can anyone tell me how to go about doing this so I get the phone quick. I know that I have to return my phone with the shipping label that Verizon sent with my Palm that isn't a big deal, what I am concerned with is the instant rebate online with the worry free guarantee implemented. I do not see anywhere to do that. And when I go to upgrade my phone it only gives me full retail prices???HELP PLEASE!!>>??

I am guessing you are speaking when you say June you are talking about last month, if so you probally will have to contact customer service to make the exchange and get discount because you would still be under the return policy to return device but I really think you would have better luck handling this situation in a store but you will pay 299.99 through store...  But keep in mind that if this is as popular as it looks the phone may move pretty fast and this is why I will be dealing with the store myself and just wait for rebate.

Looks like CS is your only option for discount...

Well, there in lies my issue. I recently went to my local Verizon WIreless store and they said that because i initially ordered my service online that I would have to return that way. Or I would be able to go to a corp store which is over 2 hours away from where I live. They would have been able to hold one for me, the representative even wrote down my name before she knew that i had ordered it that way. I would have to call CS and order it and then when I receive the Droid X I would then have to ship back the Pixi that I have now. I am just kindof frustrated with the whole process. It seems to me that I should be able to return it to my local store without any issue. Or at least go and get the other one and ship the other back to them by FedEx. I guess I will just have to let it play out when I call CS. Thanks anyways for the help. :smileywink:
