Download all of your music in MP3 non-DRM, then manually copy it or use one of the media managers for Droid X. iTunes is relatively non-extensible, so you're not going to have a lot of luck directly syncing it. In my experience the X does not show up in the device list (just like the Creative Zen, the MS Zune, or most other non-Apple players), so you will have to find your music and copy it manually.

I downloaded double twist, it worked for me, it takes your Itunes playlist and places them on to their music manager and then it syncs to your phone like itunes. I also tried Motorola media link but it didnt work for me but you can try that also.

I have read that ISyncr works for transfering songs from itunes.
