Sometimes when I try to play my .mp3 music on my Droid X it doesn't play saying that it can't recognize the file. When I cut the phone off and back on it then recognizes my .mp3 files and plays them.
Also sometimes when I try to take a picture or use the camcorder it doesn't work. When I click the button to take a picture or record the application closes. It does this repeatedly until I cut the phone off and back on and then it works normally.
I have the Android version 2.2 running on my phone.

If powering your phone off and on correct the issue, try doing a hard reset on the device to see if this will permantly correct the problem.
- From the home screen, touch the applications tab (located at the bottom of the display).
- Touch Settings.
- Touch Privacy.
- Touch Factory Data Reset.
- Touch Reset Phone.
If presented, enter the current passcode or draw the unlock pattern.
- Touch Erase Everything.
