I have an issue with my Droid X working with my 2010 CR-V I just bought yesterday to play music from my phone. I have the CR-V EL-X without NAVI but it does have XM radio with USB attachment. I plug in my Droid X and it does nothing and won't read it but it will play music from a thumb drive. Please help!

It could be a compatibility issue with your radio. When you hook your phone up to it, does it show any connection options on your phone? If it does you will want to select "Mass Storage" on your phone. After this your radio should see the contents of your phone. Now, having said that, many of these radios have an issue seeing drives larger than 8gb. The Droid X has a 16 GB card and could definitely cause problems if your radio can only handle 4-8gb max.
You will need to do some digging on the internet or in your vehicle info to find out what the max size your radio can handle. I've worked around this problem in the past myself by just throwing all my songs on a 4GB thumb drive.

I've got the new CRV-2011 with Nav. I can confirm that the droid x will not work with usb. I guess it used to work, but after the 2.2 update, something broke with the way it mounts the sdcard. The CRV also doesn't support bluetooth streaming so.... bleh, mega disappointment with Honda. Best option is to buy a usb key, or a wire and plug it into AUX.
