With the update, I can no longer see exactly what percentage my battery charge is at, i.e. 50%, 100% etc. Am I missing something? Also, is there a way to have different notification tones and volumes for texts vs emails? Thanks!

yes, GB changed it. But there are several free apps out there that will display Usage .. I happen to use BATTERY CIRCLE.
As far as ringtones & notifications, again, it is app specific. Which App are you using for TEXT vs EMAIL? There are settings for Notification in each ... or maybe NOT for the Stock apps ... in that case, you'll need a 3rd party app, such as HANDCENT for textings ... or K9 for email ... (I use the stock YAHOO email app and it does have notification & ringtone settings.)

Thanks so much for the help - was using the "stock apps" for text and email that came with the phone. Didn't think much of it only having one notifications setting for both texts and emails - until the update came through. Before the update, the ringtones on my non-google email accounts never did anything. Now, with the update, it rings every time I get an email, which is driving me nuts - and i don't want to turn it to silent, because I want to hear the notification of incoming texts.
Thanks again.

You should be able to have different notifications for TEXT vs. EMAIL ... You can set Emails to SILENT whike at the same time setting a Notification ringtone for your TXT msgs. I don't use the stock TXT app, but HANDCENT - and it offers that solution.

Thanks again. One question (technically challenged here!) After I download the Handcent, is there a way to set it as my default for texting? I apologize if this is a dumb question - but again, a bit challenged in this dpt!

With my new ext. life battery i got in my X its doing really good i'll pull it down to wear the red light flashes an it tells me i need to charge it an by doing this it's seems to be lasting longer between
charges. right now the X has been on for 1h 45m 39s an its still on the battery full position. does that
say something i think so ol X is doing really good for being a little over a year old. An i would say to
any one if you think your battery life is starten to shorten might be time to get another batry. but when you get it remember charge it fully an then run it down to wear the red or what ever light that comes on
telling you to recharge it. doing this will help the between charge times alott an its good for he battery as well. just don't go to far though an run it completely dead...thats not good. B33
Update: i do use circle battery as Cody mentioned. as for Handsent i removed it an i removed light flow as well because of issues with them they're not as good as they look but if you still want to try them go for the free version because the paid gives you only a 15 min. trial. then its your's an no refund.!!!!! a little reminder from B33
