No matter how many things I have tried I keep getting a notification that my facebook user ID or password is incorrect. I keep reentering it and of course it is correct and the notification just comes back again. DRIVING ME INSANE. Facebook is connected to a yahoo account that I have installed on my phone in addition to the new gmail account I needed for google based Droid account. Cant figure out the problem but it is taking up my work day

Try powering the device off, then back on to make sure the virtual keyboard is working correctly.
If the problem persist you may want to reset the log in password.

You might try updating the Facebook app.
Facebook account linked to Yahoo.
Do you connect to Facebook through Yahoo or Yahoo through Facebook?

I am having the same issues and I too have a yahoo email connected to facebook. HELP cause it has made me INSANE. I downloaded facebook on my Droid X via the Facebook website. There was a link to download to Droid. I love how it works, if it would stay logged in. Is yahoo the issue here?

Some people have reported this as the FB login credentials having been entered incorrectly the first time and then unable to change them after the fact - resulting in the denied access and having to re-login in each time. This sounds similar to what you're reporting. To fix this, try going into the Settings / Applications.. Scroll down to the FACEBOOK App and select it - then click on the CLEAR CACHE & CLEAR DATA ... the next time you launch FB, you'll be prompted to login. Make sure you get it right the 1st time. Let us know if that works for you.. Hope this helps.
