Droid X shipping with Android 2.2?

When will Droid X be shipping with Android 2.2 froyo?  Anyone have an idea?

Well Froyo is coming out tomorrow so just get a droid and update when you get it.

Hello. I have read your post and understand your concern with the 2.2 update. The Droid X will not ship with the update but you can now have the 2.2 update downloaded to your device. You can click on the link to have the 2.2 update downloaded to your device.

I have a similar concern. My Corp. IT will not approve purchase of the X until Verizon ships the X with 2.2 installed. So, for a guy waiting for the X since July can you answer the question - when will Verizon ship the X with 2.2 or greater installed? Thank you.

My husband just received his X  yesterday and it WAS shipped with 2.2...YAY for him!!!
