Hello, The reason I call this thread Conspiracy Theory due to us having a corporate account and we do own about 10 Droid X's. (out of which ALL fall into this)
The first day I got Droid X it was fast and responsive. No issues whatsoever.
Fast forward to today... phone is extremely laggy to the point where if I click dial somebody it can take up to 30 seconds before it responds, random reboots., screen becomes untouchable until phone put to sleep and brought back, etc..
We have all kinds of users.., some don't install any apps and some that install 100s and this lagg affects all of them.
I got to the point with my phone that factory reset seems like a solve all. However it didn't fix anything., my only thoughts after that was to watch my RAM usage and remove apps that shouldn't need to be running at all. Now I am at about 70MB RAM free, but still the phone is laggy.
Rooting the phone didn't help either, but the only purpose of rooting was to remove a few useless apps forced on us by our provider.
Nothing else was modified and plenty of space left of the internal as well as external memory.
Recently my wife got a new Android phone from ATT and while it is dual-core it still feels like what Droid X felt when it was initially released. Responsive!
Right now I get asked "whats wrong with my phone?" almost daily by our users. What am I to tell them besides some of them asking me if we're being guided towards the next upgrade.
Now the new one "SD card blank or has unsupported filesystem" go figure...
Anyone else experiencing these issues?
Thanks
