Droid X2 problem with texting

I have a droid x2 and there are a couple of contacts that when I try to text them, it will not let me.  But they can text me and i can answer their text if i do it in a matter of minutes of recieving theirs.  HELP!!

That's really strange, motherof2boys!
I can imagine how frustrated you must be since you aren't able to text certain contacts.
Exactly what happens when you try to text them? Have you been able to text them in the past? Can you go through the threads of communication with those contacts? You can also clear the cache for the text messaging app http://bit.ly/P6H9Kn.
