Droid and dock station

I was just about to jump ship for Iphone and At&t but the new device is giving me hope. I had played w/it in the stores but the staff was completely clueless. I know it  comes w/the dock that makes it possible to use it for playing music etc. Can the phone be left in the dock./cradle overnight? W/all my other phones and devices, if i keep them  powered up overnight, the battery life would go down very soon--i had to always watch it and remove it as soon as it is full. The battery was the major issue on my previous motorola phone. Also, can it be used in the cradle throughout the day to play music for hours? Would that affect battery life?

I too have the dock, but haven't used it yet.  I will tell you this - I have left my phone connected to my PC all night for several days, and one of the third party apps I have indicates that the battery is still in "good" condition.  Keep in mind that one of the things that makes this phone different is that you CAN replace the battery, whereas with the iPhone, you cannot!  :smileywink:
