I just got a Droid and so far it is great. However, it is doing something werid that I cannot figure out. Every time I put the phone in my horizontal belt holster it turns on, unlocks and the notification panel reads "Connected to Multimedia Station". At which point the screen is active which runs the risk of something on the screen being pressed inadvertently. I cannot figure out how to prevent the phone from doing this. Any suggestions?

There are magnets, around the Droid that tell it it's on the docking station, particularly on the back. If the back of your Droid is facing the magnet, then that would probably be the problem. Just turn the Droid opposite direction and you should be good.
If not, go and return the carrying case, and pocket it ftw.

Thank you so much...you were exactly right. My holster has magnets in it. Turning the phone around and having it face the other way did the trick. Excellent!

No problem! Gets you thinking as to how come people spend an extra 25 Bucks on a docking station, when in all reality all they need is a box with some magnets on it.
Makes me chuckle a little on the inside.
