This seems like a situation that I have to ask, you wouldn't by chance be rooted.. I only ask because the contact app can only have been removed when user has root access.

You may can hard reset but I am unsure if the app will get restore.

Thanks again for the assist here, wildman! Hey Stoutdevil, sorry to hear about the phone issue. A hard reset is what I would recommend at this point. I know how to process this on your phone. Let me know if you need a walk through.

Thanks  for the great feedback and suggestion!  stoutdevil, let us know how the hard reset works out for you.

Dilly,

I'm so sorry you are experiencing the same problem with accessing email on your Droid Incredible 2 as well!  I would be more than happy to assist you!

Before trying the hard reset, I would like to suggest resetting the application in the Settings menu first.  I'm including a link with instructions below:

Reset Application - HTC DROID Incredible 2 ADR6350

If that doesn't resolve the issue, I suggest the hard reset as a last resort.  Just ensure your data is backed up prior to performing the hard reset.  I'm also including the instructions for the hard reset below:

Hard Reset - HTC DROID Incredible 2 ADR6350

Let us know how this works out for you!
