I downloaded Moov for my Motorola Droid because it seemed like a cool app, but in order to get it to do its thing from the home page I have to slide out the keyboard so I can type. Is there a way to bring up the virtual keyboard from the home page, without starting some other app, so I can use it instead of the slider?

When I hold the menu button down, nothing happens until I let it go, then I get the menu, which shows Add, Wallpaper, Search, Notifications, Settings. No virtual keyboard. Perhaps you have some setting enabled that I don't that makes the keyboard pop up?
