Droid x not recieving emails

For some reason phone has quit recieving emails.I have a org droid I play with on wifi I can send email from laptop to my gmail address and org droid gets it almost instantly but the droid x takes forever sometimes not at all. has google changed something?I have a charter.net account on both phones and it works fine.

found problem synced all accounts and everything went back to normal

If you say what the problem/fix was, instead of just that you found the problem/fix, there is a chance that you could help others with the same problem in the future.

i don't know how i did it but I had turned off one of the power control widgets (the one tha syncs everything I think its theround one with arrows on it)works fine now.
