I'm on my 3rd droid x since last July, the first 2 rebooted and froze randomly even after a factory reset, took them into Verizon and they sent me replacements. On my 3rd now and it still freezes and reboots randomly, along with not making calls and not sending texts randomly. I saw a previous post that describes the issue well, when trying to make a call it will flash 0:00 and that's it until a reboot. For the texts, it seems like it doesn't even attempt to send them out, just instantly says message can't be sent, I'm using handcent but it does the same with stock messaging, a reboot seems to fix this temporarily also.
Just recently I noticed if I connect headphones or an aux cable, the slightest movement of the cable will cause static or stop my music from playing. I probably wouldn't mind it so much if I didn't use my phone all the time to play music while in my car or working out.
I guess I'm wondering if anyone else has had these issues and what did you do to fix it? I really don't care to take the phone into Verizon just to receive a 4th droid x, I'm not due for an upgrade until March 2012 either. I love my phone when it works but this is getting to be rather annoying.
Thanks in advance.

I don't have issues with calling (at least not now), but have a ton of problems with the headphone jack. One out of every 5 times when I plug in headphones or Aux cable or take it out, I'll get a reboot. Sometimes the thing will play a song for 10 or so seconds until the screen goes off...and I get a reboot. I didn't have problems until I updated to Gingerbread...it's really frustrating...
