Droid x won't complete App download

My daughter has a Droid X and the last few days when she tries to download it starts, she sees the icon showing it is downloading, then it just stops. The App isn't there and it give no error message or any message at all. We have tried several things, clearing space, turning off and on, removing the battery etc.
Anyone else had this issue?

Is the app that she is updating located on the SD Card because a number of users have had issues with apps installed on SD Card when it attempts to update... They usually can install back to internal memory and it installs update without issues or you can concider uninstalling app and reinstalling the update from Market.

she is not trying to update an App. She is trying to download a new game and it starts to download then pauses then quits. First we thought it was a bad app, and she tried several more and they all do the same thing. I am trying to find a solution here before I make a trip to the store to see what the issue may be. I did read where back in Oct. someone posted the same thing and it was a Market issue but it only lasted a couple days. She has been having this problem for a week now. I am due to get a new phone next week and was planning on getting an X but if she is having issues I am having second thoughts. She has had the phone a little over a month

Are you able to browse the web on the device? We want to confirm that it's not a data issue with the device. Also, you said that it was happening on other games as well. Do you have any type of content filtering on the device or the acct? If not, then you can send us a private message with the mobile number or account number and we can investigate further.
