On the settings of the Droid there is something that says Text- to-speech.  How do I install voice data to be able to use this?

Hi.  I understand that you want to use text to speech and I will be happy to help you further.  The option to install voice data is grayed out on the phone because it is already installed on the phone.   Basically, you can now use that feature if the application you are using permits.
