Droid2 and no sound

It started over the weekend when the alarm I had set didn't make a noise but the app ran. Next I realized I wasn't getting any ring tones. I could call out and hear the people I had called and I heard the normal sounds while dialing. Today I can't even listen to my ever increasing voice mail! It seems to have gone totally silent on me. I checked and the blue tooth is turned off. Any suggestions?

I understand how frustrating this can be and I want to help. How long have you had this issue?

Try running the phone in safe mode http://bit.ly/o5McAQ and see if it help. If it does than the issue is caused by a third party app that was downloaded on the phone. If this is the case than I would recommend uninstalling the apps and installing them back one at a time.

If the issue persist while in safe mode I recommend performing a hard reset http://bit.ly/vWYcLK. This will reset the phone back to manufacturer settings.
