DroidX Photo Downloads

I have DroidX running Android Ver 2.3.4.

I would like to download "All photos" in my Gallery folder to my PC runing Window8.

I am able to download Camera roll ( which is DCIM directory).

However, I do not see photos that came in as attachments to text in DCIM directory.

I'm cheap and don't like to pay for apps.

Any suggestion?

You have to save the text attachment(s) by opening the text message(s), then long-pressing the photo until you get a pop-up option to save it.  Once saved, it's found in your internal storage > messaging.

All photo appear in my cell phone in a folder "Gallery" in "All photos."

I tried downloading message, lost.dir and DCIM directories.

When I try opening these photos I get;

 "photo-gallery can't open the photo or video."

"file maybe unsupported, damaged or corrupt."
