DroidX and netbook

I have a DroidX and an Acer Aspire One netbook - can I link my netbook to the Droid to use it's internet access for access with my Acer netbook?

As long as your Netbook has wifi yes you can.  You will need to get wifi hotspot provisioned to your account though, and this will be an additional monthly charge.
