Droix X Home Button Problems.

When I press the Home Key, it does two things. 1) The ringer volume displays for a few seconds and 2) it takes me to the recent app screen. I totally reset the phone today and it worked for a while, but went back to doing the same thing. I have the newest OS update from a few weeks ago. Also, when I'm on this screen none of the buttons will work. I have to press the power button to turn the phone off temporarily and then back on to go back to my home screen. Any thoughts are appreciated.

If I had to guess I would say that your issue sounds software related and not hardware also you may have something that modified the buttons settings.

When you reset did you reinstall or allow auto restore of the Apps that was on the device?

Check to see what your default home double click program is. You can do this by settings:::applications:::double tap home launch. This may have something to do with your volume showing momentarily.

Your second thing with seeing the recent programs is because you are pressing and holding the home key. This is the default action and from my experience cannot be changed.

So the first issue you're having may be a problem, but the second one is built in and is supposed to happen when you long press the home button.

Another thing to consider with the volume coming up... How are you holding the device when this happens because I have came to figure out the volume buttons are easily touched if your fingers so much as lightly pressed against them, maybe the way you are holding device is causing this.
