Duplicate Calendar Entries

I am synching with Microsoft Outlook and single entries in Outlook are becoming duplicative entries on my Droid X.

 

So if I out in an appointment for today from 3:00 pm to 4:00pm it will show up twice on my phones calendar

Strange..  Are they duplicate in GMAIL's calendar as well? or just your phone? What happens if you enter an event on your phone? Does it get to GMAIL's Calendar and then duplicated back to your phone?  Sounds like some sort of SYNC issue.

The entries are showing up on the Droid as one coming from Outlook and one coming from gmail calendar

which calendar APP are you using? Did you check the settings in that APP?
