I get an annoying echo of my own voice...mostly when talking long distance. Happens with both Verizon users and non-users on the other end of the call.

 

Any ideas?

Echos usually come from the device being almost equally between two tower and the device is jumping back and forth from tower to tower, usually hanging up and calling back corrects issue...  Also try Settings / Wireless Network Settings / Mobile Networks / System Select / Home Only and see if this helps.

Thanks for the advice. It happens pretty much whereever I am so I doubt in results from being between two towers. I will giver your settings a try.
