I'm having an issue with my "email" app on my incredible 2.
i am not referringto the GMAIL app but the Mail app. (my gmail account is working fine) the mail app was linked to my yahoo account .
my niece accidentally deleted my account and now I cannot seem to get it set back up with out getting the following message:
authentication failed
please verify your username/password
well if my user name is my email address and the password I use is for the email account I'm working with then how could there be a problem? I have tried to enter this several times and its not working.
I do not understand why this is.
can anyone help me out? I have also tried a different account (they are both yahoo) and it does the same thing. (i thought yahoo is a POP account so that appears to be correct but its still not connecting properly)

Wow! That's upsetting when our little relatives delete things they shouldn't, I've had that happen to me on multiple occasions.
Here's a emulator for email account setup. Please make sure you are entering the full email address include the .com at the end and passwords are case sensitive. Yahoo can be a troublesome email sometimes I've know they have an mail application on the market that some people swear by. Have you tried logging into your email on a Pc or laptop?
Please let me know if those options help, If not I'm sure we can get your email up and running again.
