Email Send Issue

No matter if on Wireless or on WiFi, I have issues sending Emails from time to time.  Sometimes I can reply to one email, then on the very next email, I cannot.  Like a minute after success, it fails.

 

And then, of course, it tries over and over to send, repeatedly failing.  It's frustrating.

 

Is there anything I can do to get more consistent performance?

Is this your gmail account or an Internet provider address???

Internet provider.  AT&T I believe.  Everything looks right, then as soon as I SEND, it gives me the CHIRP, and says it didn't go.

 

Would the GMAIL do better?  Maybe I could just have the AA&T one copy into GMAIL, and not receive the AT&T ones at the phone...

As you are trying to send via your mobile device the settings will be different than your home system.

i agree with budone. i suspect that your outgoing server settings may not be accurate for a mobile device.

check this link. budone gave a list of settings and at&t is included. make sure yours match it.

Ok, I set to match that list. I was wrong,however. I'm on sbcglobal. Will that error make for on and off performance. Both of mine now read as the document in that thread.
