Email failing to sync

Someone please help me! I have spent the last 3 days with numerous techs and no one seems to know how to fix. My sbcglobal e-mail account and my droidx e-mail account do not sync up anymore. I had to change my e-mail password Monday and since then nothing has worked. I re-added the e-mail account to the phone but now I have to delete emails on the phone AND delete them on the computer. I am so frustrated I am about ready to cancel my phone and go somewhere else. I have talked to verizon tech, yahoo and att universe tech and no one seems to be able to fix problem and each blames the other departments. SURELY this can be fixed! It had been working correctly for over a year. Any advise is much appreciated!

if you only want emails on the phone, not left on the computer, settings/accounts, open xxx email, menu/settings/other, check remove from server.
