Email fetch

I have set the retrieval of email for 15 minutes instead of constant to conserve power.   However now it does not go out and get email at all I have to manually have it sync to the server.

If you haven't found a fix yet, go to Android Widgets (long press on home screen) install Power control and toggle on the circular refresh icon second from right. Droid 2. Worked for me to fix the. Same issue.
