Email program shut down and won't work

I keep trying to open my email program, and it keeps shutting down without allowing me to do anything with it now.

Dougie, I'm sorry to hear that you're having issues with your email. I would love to help! Let's try clearing cache from your email application by going to Settings, Applications, Manage Applications, All, Email, Force Stop, then Clear cache. This will not erase any of your emails, but clears temporary cache from the email application. Try also rebooting your phone. If you are still having issues with the application, clear data also. You may need to setup the email again after clearing data, but none have been deleted from the server.
