Email settings and syncing

I have a couple of questions on the stock email program.
1. For one of my accounts, I prefer that email not be automatically synced - it's an account that I want, on occasion, to check manually. However, there seems to be no "No sync" option. I could select "Once a day," but for this account, even that downloads too much of the email in this account.
2. I have two different emails from the same service---that is usernameA@charter.net and usernameB@charter.net. However, it appears that the sync settings only hold for the account charter.net and not for each username. In other words, I cannot set separate sync schedules for usernameA and usernameB. Is there a workaround?
3. Is there a better email program out there?
Thanks much!

There are several email apps in the market, the only one I have used is Yahoo! mail, of course that only handles yahoo accounts. From what I've heard, lots of people like K9 mail. I'd give that one a try, as well as some others and see what you like.

I'm most definitely NOT a VZW employee. If a post answered your question, please mark it as the answer.

How can you set "manual sync?" Where in the Settings is this option?
Thanks!

This is what I see on my Tbolt for a pop3 account. Your settings might be different.

Should be the same for the Dinc2, that menu string is unique for Sense devices.
