Email since update

Has anybody else experienced problems with emails not coming through after the gingerbread update?  I have to manually check my email in order to receive them.  I have checked all my settings and they are the same as before the update.  I have also tried powering off and doing a battery pull since I saw that suggested in the forum.  None of this worked.  Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated since I have only had my Droid for about 5 months so I'm fairly new in the android world.  Thanks!

Open APP Drawer, Go into MY ACCOUNTS, select the YAHOO account,  and click on REMOVE ... then re-add it.  (Renter your login info)

How do I remove and add back the account?  I am using Yahoo and it was set up for me in the store so I'm not sure how to do this.  I told you I was an android newbie so I guess I need step by step directions if you can be patient enough to provide them.  Thank you for the quick response.

You will have to know the settings for the account and then open My Accounts and click Add Accounts and input the required information.... Yahoo is normally simple because all it ask for is the user name and password.

This was something reported during the testing.  I didn't have the problem (Yahoo email). But from what I saw, for those that DID have the issue, they started by going into the Settings / Applications - scroll to your email APP and click on CLEAR CACHE. If that didn't work, they UNINSTALLED the APP and reinstalled it.

Of course doing either of these will require you to AT LEAST re-enter your login credentials. If you uninstall & reinstall, you MAY have to re-enter you ISP details as well if using something other than the stock APP or Yahoo.

Also, I assume you confirmed your Settings for Email delivery & Notifications has not changed ?
