Emptying email trash folder

How do I empty my email trash folder?  Verizon Wireless clerk one by one.  I have over 2000 emails to delete.

An easier way might be to delete the account and add it back in again with it set to sync only the minimum amount of days or number of emails you can stand.

To delete Email Trash, tap the check box next to each email you want to delete (in the trash folder), then bring up the menu, and tap delete. This should allow you to delete all emails that have a check beside them.
