On my T-Mobile web site account, I am able to enter a string of names with phone numbers, and then have this sent to and update my cell phone. How can I do this for my Motorola Droid phone? There has to be an easier way to do this on Verizon than having to add each name and phone number via the small key board on the phone! Thanks for any help.

Do you have your contacts saved as Google contacts? There is a backup assistant available from Verizon where you can input the info on the My Verizon when you are logged in. However it is not available for the motorola droid (original) or the Droid eris. All the contacts are synced with the gmail account or saved only on the phone. Backup assistant has been flaky at best for past several months based on the posts on this forum. Still don't know if BA is fixed. Glad I don't have to rely on it.
I'm most definitely NOT a VZW employee. If a post answered your question, please mark it as the answer.

Hi Ann154,
Thanks for the info. I use Hotmail primarily, but I do have a google account. So I'll try to export the hotmail contacts list to the gmail account and go from there. Thanks again.
