Everything is messing up or force closing!

My phone is having a lot of problems. It deleted all of my contacts for the second time, It forcecloses everything, It won't let me set my pictures as a background, and my alarm clock won't even work now. I don't know what to do with it. I have tried to do the factory reset and it won't even do that. Other than those things it works.

I feel your pain, I would be frustrated if my phone didn't work properly and I wasn't able to do a factory reset to resolve issues. Please follow the instruction below for a factory reset alternate method:

1. Press the Power button for 3 - 5 seconds.
2. Select Power off.
   If the device isn't responding proceed with step 3.
3. Remove / replace the battery.
4. Press and hold the Volume down key then press and hold the Power button for 3 to 5 seconds.
5. When the HBOOT screen appears, release the Volume down key.
6. Press the Volume key to select FACTORY RESET then press the Power button.
   This boot process takes several moments. If the device hangs or freezes, remove / replace the battery.
7. Perform Initial Activation / Setup. 

I trust that you will be able to perform factory reset and have issues resolved. Keep us posted.

I tried that several times, my phone never went to the HBOOT screen? Yes, I held it for 3 to 5 seconds. I don't know what to do?

I have been having a similar issue.  Although, I have not yet lost my contacts (Hope I do not either).

Many of my applications force close or will not open all together....

Any suggestions?

I'm getting the same thing.  Tried the factory reset from bootloader an no dice... still doesn't work!    On phone with tech support.
