Exchange Setup

I am having problems with getting a Exchange account set up on this phone.  Our company has several other Android phones with 2.2 and 2.2.1 versions of Android that work fine with our corporate email.  But this is our first Incredible 2...

 

The error message is "Authentication failed. Please verify  Username and/or Password " via the manual set up.  The server/user  settings are correct.

 

Any ideas?

Which data plan do you have? Not sure if you have to have the enterprise plan to use exchange account.

 

Can you check with your Exchange / Network administrator to see if mobile data is turned on for your account - if you had a Blackberry previously you wouldn't have had to have that feature turned on.

 

If your account is ok, try adding your domain name to the front of the username name for example, verizon\bobbogus to see if that helps...

 

Also, can you try someone elses account on the phone to see if it's just your account or the settings in general?
