It seems like everyone here wants an early delivery. I got caught up in that too. I was told from the beginning my Droid would arrive on Aug 31st. Guess what? That's the day it arrived. All I'm saying is, don't count on it arriving earlier than the promised date. If you get it earlier, lucky you, but please don't complain that you didn't get it early. I understand your impatience, believe me today was like the longest day ever, (delivered at the last possible moment 3:05 PM) but the phone is worth the wait. Good luck everyone, enjoy your Droid X!
Got mine 3 days early...
Guess I'm one of the lucky one. Received my phone a week early. They had it posted for the 23rd, arrived on the 16th. Only bad part it came a half hour after I left for work. I left the note to leave it at the door and was going crazy all day hoping it was still there. Someone else where I work at received has early too.
Mine arrives today - 6-7 days earlier.
I agree ... if it comes early be happy, but don't expect it. Especially since it's getting more and more popular. I did receive mine early (about 4 days early), but let me tell you those days I waited seemed like the longest days in history. And the day it was to be delivered, I worked from home so I could sign for it. Every time I heard a truck outside, I ran for the window to see who it was.
But as we all know ... it's well worth the wait. I fall more in love with it every day which is crazy to say about a phone. LOL
Like a little kid counting down the days till X-mas....except no big jolly guy dressed in red is bringing it....in this case a disgruntle FedEx employee in dark blue and purple....
Interesting, cause my GF and I both got tracking numbers indicating an earlier delivery than the "stated ship date"...
So have a ton of other people... So the ones that do have to wait for the extact "ship date",
