Not a FIX it's a work around and I found that setting the date back messes with your Google account syncing and messages can get confusing when there not in order.

You can have a widget that creates a mobile hotspot. It works great that way. I have switch pro but you can use elixir and it is free.

Thanks to everyone for their response.  The work around was a good temporary solution, however, we have released a new software that will be pushed to your device that will fix this and provide other enhancements. This software can’t be downloaded manually. For more information please visit the following link.
