FM Radio interference from charger

Not sure if this is a phone issue or an app issue or just the way it is issue....   While using the FM Radio app at work with phone hooked to pc speakers I thought I would hook up the charger as to not drain my battery...As soon as I plugged in the charger the radio went to nothing but static...unplug charger radio plays fine.... Is this something that will just have to be dealt with or is this an issue that could be worked around?

Ok.. got phone on a moto charger.....got all the cables all spread out and its playing decently...still a little static but ya know it could be because I'm located sorta in the center edge of a concrete building. 🙂  Thanks for all of the input!

Sounds like the charger is causing RF interference...  You might wanna try plugging it into a computer w/ the USB cord to charge it, and see if that doesn't happen again

Will have to try that tomorrow...didn't bring it with me today.  Plus I work for the government and they have this thing about attaching outside sources to their computers.  But as long as I keep it in the charge only mode it should be ok.  Thanks for the suggestion.

My FM works fine. But did not run the exact same test you did.

Used Headphones w/charger.  Sound loud and clear and no static.

Used Internal Droid X Speakers w/charger.  Sound loud and clear and no static.

Sorry, did not use External Speakers. Not set up for that.

It could be the Florescence Lamps in your office causing the noise???  Turn off lights and check.
