FaceBook notifications

I just switched from a Blackberry Curve to the Incredible. On my BB whenever I received a notifications I received an alert; on this Droid I get NOTHING. It's frustrating trying to figure this out. I've set the settings and notification tone, but I still don't get anything. Any solutions????

There is an updated version of Facebook on the market. Download it. But still, there won't be any new msg notifications until you actually open the application. Sucks. Hopefully, in the future updates they would address this important issue.

Thank you... I actually turned the notification on 4 my email, so I'm getting them that way. Still not the same, but I guess it'll work 4 now.
