Facebook Error Messages

Every time I try to refresh the Notifications on my Facebook app, an error message comes up saying 'Cannot retrieve the notifications. Please try again later. [601/ Parser error: unexpected '-' at position 64]'. Does anyone know how to fix this?

You are not connected to the net for some reason. Are all other internet features working correctly? Try to use something simple like Internet. Running a task killer? Try excluding Facebook from being killed. Do a battery pull lately? Try pulling the battery for a few min, reboot and try again. Last ditch effort..... uninstall the app and download again.

Well, I took your advice and connected to Facebook from the Internet. I then clicked on download Facebook for Android device. It replaced the existing Facebook app and everything seems to be working well and the format of Facebook is even better. Thanks!

Be sure to update your apps. That was the problem. Your version of Facebook was old and wouldn't connect to its servers.
