Facebook Sync Error

While using the Social Networking app with the bionic it no longer recognizes my username and password that I am using. I then try to remove and possibly set up again and it will not even let me remove the account.

I have already downloaded the FB app and i am all good with getting on facebook, however i would like to be able to have this work or atleast remove.

I am seeking - how do i either allow the droid bionic to reset what it has as a password and username or how do i remove it entirely?

Thanks,

I Hope you are enjoying this new device as much as I am. I would be glad to help with your Bionic and the Social Network application.

The best way to reset the application would be: Menu>Settings>Applications>Manage Applications>All>Social Networking> Clear data. This will reset the application so you can start over.

Please let me know if I can further assist. Also here's a link to our Simulator it gives some great set up instructions for many different functions on the Bionic.

Thank you

I have the EXACT same problem. I can add social netwroking individual apps and they work fine...but social netwrking app has duplicates and when you go to delete them, you get "error has occurred" also, when you do what you said about going to manage app and trying to clear data, I can't even clear data for that app, it wont let me

make something happen bossman

Hoynowski, thank you for your reply. If there is no option to clear data or cache, I would suggest you try a factory reset also to resolve this issue.

Suggesting someone reset and lose EVERYTHING on their phone to get one lame app working is about the WORST "help" imaginable!

A factory reset won't work it is a known issue with Verizon Wireless Droid Bionic.

Once again this Verizon rep is Wrong a factory reset won't work.

I would download the facebook app from the market till Verizon pulls their head out of their @$$.

And fixes the bionic and all of their known issues.

If the Verizon Rep did his homework they would have already known this was a problem with the droid bionic.

Seems like you need to do a factory reset almost daily to get this phone to work. I've had to factory reset mine at least half a dozen times and am now on my third reconditioned replacement and I'm still having problems. This phone is a definite lemon and Verizon and/or Motorola don't care, Why should they? they already have our money.
