Facebook contacts

New Droid X user here.  My Facebook contents are in my Droid contacts listing.  I don't want them there, but get a message that I need to delete them from my Facebook page.  I don't want to delete these contacts as F/B friends, just want them off of my phone contacts listing.

hey susan, i had that happen as well, dont use the fb icon that came ini the account settings, go to the market place and download the fb app from there...

Oh, no, Kid. They are the same app, man. Geez...

Susan, try un-installing the Facebook app and use Facebook from the browser. Good ol' www.facebook.com. I like this MUCH better than using the app. And when you visit the Facebook website, scroll down to the bottom of the page and make sure that you are on the "touch" site, which works really well with Droid Xs.
