Facebook sync help

I need a bit of help here.

On my Moto Droid at one time I deleted or hid some facebook contacts from my phone contact list, I would like to add a few of them back. I did a search and thought I had it figured out.

I have deleted facebook touch, I went to manage apps and cleared data and uninstalled the updates from the preloaded facebook app. I then went in and set up a "new" account in each app, I set the facebook app to "sync all" and thought that would do it. I did not get one of my removed or hid contacts back.

How can I get them to show again??

Oh and I did get the 2.2 update a few days ago, not sure it that makes a difference.

you may have to add them manually to your "Contacts" outside of FB.

then see if they are on your FB page (outside the droid). if they are there, then after you made them a "Contact", resync with your FB sync on the droid and all should be ok?
